The time for rhetoric will have to wait
as their platform arrived a little late
and in the reverie of this existing state
the Daydream Party will miss the debate!

In this top secret silo the old world will fade
from present memory as new plans are laid
so the door is now closed and he won't get paid.
The last pizza delivery has been made!

--

We can't build character without paying our dues
when saturated daily by discouraging news
and it's troubled humans who provide all the clues
in combating a plethora of the blues!

--

With the Declaration of Independence in '76
Thomas Jefferson simply did not fix
that all men are created equal and have a right
if the birth of your skin happens to be white!

--

The world's oldest footprint left an indelible mark
and it's discovery would provide a tantalizing spark
but human ingenuity was behind this lark
when NIKE took a walk in the proverbial park!
