Your Destiny Awaits: Poems 1 To 5
13 April, 2009
Author: Colin Stewart
Your market value has come to reveal
it's nearly impossible to close the deal
in the way this cul de sac makes you feel
when your asexuality lacks sex appeal!
--
Woke up in a daze and dripping with sweat.
If this is a dream I've lost the bet.
I feel boxed in and then bump my head
in a space reserved for the dead!
--
As a lost civilization embedded in a dream
man's imagination is never too extreme
and buried in the desert this vestige would lay
until Las Vegas was discovered the other day!
--
Accidents happen but no one could tell
when a family dynasty suddenly fell
and down below were the unfortunate ones
upon meeting the acquaintance of Steinway and Sons!
--
With a stamp of disapproval and anarchistic delight
they substituted a wrong for every right
by pursuing mischief until broad daylight
when the pixies exploited your sleepless night!
