Blood Purple Vengeance: Salvation Of The Inner Soul
24 April, 2009
Author: Miztrebor
Blood red skies turn orange when they dry
And fade away until only the memory remains
A scar in the soul
In the one they loved to hate
This scar hides, once they take him back
And comes again, when he is forgotten
But on this day, the moon shone bright
The hollow, in the night red from turmoil and lust
Only he knows what will happen next
On this day he will have his salvation
Taking back the pride which they took away
Now they take him back, and fly him high
Not knowing their doom is near
‘Cause once they leave him behind again
From behind will death take them
To end the reign of those who “care” for him the most
With the dagger in their back
The blood flows, thick and warm
Black, from the corrosion of man
But red from the followers led on by their acceptance
Innocence drawn by the candy, no knowing their day is near
With the blood still thin, he took up his brush
And painted the world in his image
“Death to all, and life to none.
By the end of this day,
My deed will be done.”
As he looked at the sky, he smiled and cried
The clouds parted and rained down purple
Purple Rain
The Prince was crying at his success
The deed was gone
And Purple passion engulfed the world
Nothing has ever been so beautiful
As a purple sky and sea
You even could drink purple tea
And this was carried out
Only by He
------- Author's Notes -------
This is an old poem i found in a notebook. Realized it's the only one i haven't posted from it. And since it's from my junior year of high school about four years ago, i don't really know what it's about or what inspired it (until i read it further and deeper.) |
