A Mermaid In Love
28 April, 2009
Author: Karla Bardanza
I am creature of the sea and wrapped
Up in my hair I want you to be…
Passion and destruction are what
I can offer you plus dreams that
Can’t come true…But
If you marry me I can gain my soul…
Help me to abandon my ocean element,
Give me a new life I don’t want to be forever
Doomed to this torment…
Oh…this rude sea which lies between you
And me…
Oh …these dark stars deepen my scars…
Oh… Precious one! I am alone in my enchanted
Waters…come to me…let me lull you…listen
To the words that come from my heart…
Lavish on my sea, drown in me…
I want to save you too from your silent pain…
Why do I need a voice if I can’t tell you
I love you again?
This sea maid calls you every night…
This psychic power binds us with flowers
And delight…don’t resist…don’t run away…
Be my counterpart…
Here is my heart…
