Anyone But Me
30 April, 2009
Author: LinzAy
I want to be stronger
I want to be brave
I want to be loved
Someone who’s craved
I want to be happy
I want to care
I want to know him
The man who’ll always be there
Do I want too much?
Have I already let it go?
Have I blinded myself?
Will I get another chance if so?
I need compassion
I need another half
I want to be noticed
Don’t want to see turned backs
I don’t want that
Not sure I want this
There’s no point in loving something
You’re only going to miss
I want to be encouraging
I want to give hope
I want to show my heart
I want what’s inside to be known
But with all these twists, turns, ups and downs
Smiling less, welcoming frowns
When it's all over, who will I be?
…Hopefully anyone other than me
