Sublime Night
2 May, 2009
Author: Karla Bardanza
There is a cruel silence in the room
And the moon is hidden among the clouds.
The stars are so quiet and I wonder if they have
Ever listened to me…
The sea whispers in the breeze and some distant lights
Sadden the night.
The wind howls through the trees and something in me
Sees eternity.
My heart comforts my soul while I listen to her.
She lulls me, she takes me there and I want to
Be embraced warmly…And I want to sleep among
The angels and the flowers…
She sings “so nice” and the hours melt away…
I lie down on the floor and I abandon myself to you.
And deep inside I know you love me too…
