I Killed Love
3 May, 2009
Author: Karla Bardanza
My inside is empty (so it seems)
(i killed love)
But it was in self-defense
No guilty
Better this way
Nothing to declare
Nothing to say
I don’t need a lawyer
I don’t need anything
Handcuff my soul
Jail my dreams
Cut my wings
It makes no difference
Now my heart is free
But why do i feel
Love is still here
Inside of me?

Meridian (64.12.117.71) -- Friday, May 8 2009, 02:38 am I'm loving your style. I like how your poetry flows like wrap text, rather than sticking to a particular rhyme scheme. Very nice. |
