It's a human prerogative to complain
but in this line you'll never gain
what you've lost in sorrow and doubt
of waiting too long in an express check-out!

--

During evacuation Noah took heed
to envision what man would inevitably need
and today biodiversity gives us that lead
because a wise old man had planted the seed!

--

These ashes now define his name
through the notoriety of instant fame
by bursting into a sudden flame.
After spontaneous combustion you're never the same!

--

They will have to run fast to say the least.
These beautiful animals fear the beast.
So tarry not and heed the call
or you'll become a prized head on their wall!

--

Fear and panic brings more dread
with insecurity wherever I tread.
This constant anxiety rules my head.
I think today I'll just stay in bed!
