Drunk & Dizzy
16 May, 2009
Author: Karla Bardanza
Drunk she goes home
All alone in her own darkness...
Short steps through her pain,
Dizzy again she forgets for a while
Her scars…Confused she kneels down
And prays but faith can’t sustain her lost
Soul…She sees two moons and counts the stars…
She thinks about how well she performed her role…
She weeps…She shouts…She hurts herself and bleeds…
Sweet blood flowing in the rain…Lovely stains everywhere…
When she gets home, in her loneliness she notices she has nobody
To share the tears and her tired heart dies once more betrayed by her cruel fears.
