A Love Poem
20 May, 2009
Author: Karla Bardanza
The moon brings invisible poems written in beauty
As she walks sadly among the clouds and stars…
She is so quiet inside, so lost in her thoughts and
Dreams but she never shows her turmoil, just gleams…
And as she goes her way, she opens her hands painfully
And lets something slip through her fingers…She
Doesn’t look back to see what was left…Oh!She seems
To be so bereaved and bereft…Oh!She is so afraid…
And she remembers when she tasted the sweet on his skin…
How perfect it was to love him!But today she is going away.
Loneliness ahead, grey days as she had before. But she wants
More. She knows she will cry and burn but she won’t return.
But she won’t return…
