If I had only one dream I would like
It to be as beautiful as the sea,
Soaked in honey and glee.
If happiness fell straight in my arms,
I would be sleeping in a bed of roses
Reading the best Brazilian poetry and prose.
If hope had wings I would ask it
To land in my heart where I could see life
And its permanent charm and art.
If I could live a love story, it would have
No end, no sadness, no tears because
You would be here.
And if I could write after so many dreams,
I would write an ode to pleasure and it
Would be my only and one treasure.
