Those Are
24 May, 2009
Author: Karla Bardanza
Give him enough rope
To hang his hope
Give her a sweet blade
To kill a shade
Give him a sword to stab
What he has ignored
Give her a gun and then
run
Oh! those are the sons and
The daughters of loneliness
Oh! those only live to please
Madness
Give her a heart again
Put a smile on his face
Give her something to soothe the pain
Get him somebody to embrace
Oh! those are the sons and the daughters
Of grief
Oh! i am just like them
Is there a relief?
Oh! those are dressed in red
Expecting the world to drop dead.
