My Voice Is Back
9 March, 2002
Author: Don Fraser
Hooray and hallalujia,
I know it means,
Nothin to ya
My voice is back,
It is.
Right on track.
A great doctor operated on my throat,
In his,
Sanitary white coat.
My voice is back,
As soon as the doc. left the room,
He went on his honeymoon.
And when he came home,
I told him,
This poem.
My voice is back,
His operation was a success
I can talk now,
As you might guess,
My voice is back,
I don’t sing very fine,
My voice is back,
But to sing at all,
Is so divine.
My voice is back.
It has been so many years.
I have shed,
Many tears,
My voice is back,
Thank you doc.
Now I’m one of,
The flock because,
My voice is back.
