Teach Me How To Breathe
3 June, 2009
Author: Karla Bardanza
Such a silence invades my heart
at the dead of the night when i
find the past lurking in the dark.
I recoil to the depths of me
and the only one thing i can
see is you a...a...amore mio.
This hunger for the infinite
makes me crawl, makes me
swallow my pride and look for
you every now and then.
And whenever i wake up
my cruel reality kills me
again.
Can love that is lost be found?
Can you hear my heart calling
you in despair?
Can you teach me how to breathe
if you were my air?
Such a silence makes me shout
and creep...
such a feeling only makes me
weep...
