Go Green

The word is go green
So, what does it mean?
Be environment friendly
Be a part of nature’s scene
Green is a color
That soothes the senses
The problem we face today
Must be looked with bigger lenses
Ice caps are melting
Sun is sweltering
With lands getting submerged
Is the world’s end nearing?
Nature reacts sharply
With every welting on her torso
“Strive to save nature and its creation!”
Must be our motto
Turn off the lights
When they are not in use
Conserve energy and power
Well before hell breaks loose
Green is the color
Of natures soul substance
So, plant trees to create cover
And keep her fury in abeyance...
Have you ever thought of a place?
A place of your dreams
If you truly believe in those thoughts of yore
You must then “Go Green!”
------- Author's Notes -------
Nature is like a boomerang. If we throw something at it, it comes back to us in plenty. Felling trees will result in drought and planting 'em results in rainfall and a cooler ambience. Ozone is our savior. Ozone is 'our zone' - the earth's zone So, let's Go Green. A Greener atmosphere results in a 'Greener Earth' |
