A Time Of Decay
7 June, 2009
Author: Karla Bardanza
Strip of dignity there you go
Living life so out of control.
A lot of heartache makes you break
Every now and then.
Imbalance and entanglement again
And again.
Feeling isolated and misunderstood you
Low your head and swallow your pride.
Resentment drains your energy deep inside.
And you just want to recoil and hide yourself
In a well and be there till time can tell if the
Grim phase will ever end.
But you can’t understand all the losses.
You are trapped and let down.
You run in circles, you creep and crawl…
The obstacles are insurmountable,
It is a time of decay.
It is a time of crying
And waiting for a new day.
It is a kind of deadlock you think in despair.
How can you breathe if there is no air?
Maybe it is fate and you feel a sort of puppet.
So what to do but crying and being selfish
Enough to think only of you.
Your heart has frozen over,
Your tongue is tied,
You just wonder if you are still alive
Or have already died.
