I Dissolve Myself In Poems
21 June, 2009
Author: Karla Bardanza
Words seed my pregnant heart.
They exceed my boundaries and
They have a life of their own.
Words are my voice crystallized
In time reflecting my tormented soul.
Words dissolve my melancholy
In poems and feelings.
They are fragments of myself
Searching for light and healing.
Words are the exchange between
My desire and my pain and they
Are what shall remain of me
When my spirit is finally free.
Sweet words! Oh! I dissolve
Myself in poems,
In flowers and butterflies.
I exit from myself and I
Encounter with eternity.
Words are my discourse
With alterity.
