Inner Eden

Are we setting ourselves up for a fall?
The lines of communication are in place;
Our voices are almost one again.
Our structures are taller,
Taller than the mountains are high,
And we aren’t limited to our small stature any more.
Our rockets take us out of this sphere,
The ships of old are of no use to us now,
Our earth, it we have explored almost in its entirety.
There is no Eden here, that we can see;
Was it all a hoax?
There are millions of tiny lights in the sky, above.
We can look up and see numerous glowing dots.
Are these things nonessential to our questions?
Or could they possibly be what we’ve been searching
This entire time?
Is Eden out there somewhere?
There’s nothing stopping it from being true.
Just beyond the sun, a slight bit to the right,
It could be there, could it not?
Just peeking out from behind the angel
It’s sword flaming with the lights of countless candles.
Eden you are out there
Eden at sometime you will be found,
Or has our search been straying to the obscure.
The physical plan may not be where you lie,
I shall look into myself
I shall see my inner struggle,
My inner passion, and I shall find
My Inner Eden.
That is where try peace hides.
