Sitting in front of the fireplace her hands trace over that card as if it's the last thing she's ever going to touch...
In a sense this is true.
Once she rids of this last remaining card there will be nothing left to touch that had to do with...him.
Her heart gripping so tightly onto the words written down.
"I love you"
Just three of the many.
But her fingers were no longer able to trace along love's face and his amazing lips...
Why should her heart be able to hold on?
And so it happened...
Embers of a lost love teasingly played in the air before her and sadly disappeared.
She cut her fingers through the air, perhaps cutting through love...
Ridding of everything physical, she had hoped would help rid of the emotional reminders.
Let's hope they die with that picture in the fire...
