Today's Decisions, Tomorrow's Regrets: 5 Poems

"Well Mr. President the time is near
based on a decision that we both fear
as certain hostilities can't bridge this gap
so godspeed to you and our world map!"
--
She runs this company in her sleep
as quarterly profits take an imaginary leap
and beyond the lullaby of counting sheep
feminism has liberated Little Bo Peep!
--
The Shroud of Turin provided a hint
with compelling evidence of fine print
by serving the apprenticeship of inquisitive man
that everything seems to be made in Japan!
--
Ancient superstitions negated an open mind
of the very answers man tried to find
and with the clarity of foresight in a bind
the foundation of truth was left behind!
--
They will never fear another alarm
under the care of his heavenly arm
and all God's creatures live on a farm
with the reassurance of no more harm.
