My Little Man
18 July, 2009
Author: LinzAy
Little feet dancing in a dark abyss
Little hands swimming for something to hold
As they meet, toes and fingers intertwine
I wonder if a smile appears on his face?
There's security in this dark haven
Comfort in the muted sounds he hears
Comfort in the dim lights he can't make out
Yet I wait, selfishly, to take him from this...and help him find comfort in my arms
I sing to a little man I cant' see
I feel him inside of me, taking over my heart
I allow my hands to glide across my skin and dance with his kicks
As strange as they are, I treasure these moments
Staring at distorted pictures of something yet to be seen
Speaking to someone yet to be heard
Loving the personality of someone yet to be known
I wait-anxiously-to hold my little man and know...he's my life
