Vision Revealed
2 August, 2009
Author: Hazzard
I have seen you before but never noticed you.
Admired you from afar but not for what you truly are.
You are beautiful
You are my friend
I will carry you when you have not the strength
And I will tend you when you have fallen.
I can tell you my secrets
My hopes
But never my fears.
But now I have stumbled and as I fall
I see with new eyes
You are my equal and a strength I have not known.
I must let you fly
Because that is why you are.
I lift my arms to the sky and say to you,
“Help me my friend for we are one and I have grown weak.
Be my sight and make me strong once again.”
Though I fall a protector,
We shall arise a warrior.
As one.
