How do you climb the mountain
When the icy hand of a demon holds your heart?
I have held the world in my hand
Only to realize that it was merely dust.
Don’t worry,
I have saved two for the boatman.

shiloh (67.251.100.215) -- Tuesday, August 4 2009, 10:35 pm The demon only impedes your progress if you allow such; if you wrap your mind in fear then it will win, but if you dismiss the potential negatives, then you will win. Nothing is for nothing — you must overcome first your idea(s) of what might be, then of what could result, and concentrate, instead, on what YOU want, what result would be better for you, and for those you care about. Only then will you be able to grasp the staff of virtue and stand upright against the tumult, and win out against the overwhelming bitterness of the demon and his or her minions... you have the strength, the courage, the potential... IF you will but use your mind. Do not fail yourself. |
