If Only I Could Get Back

Seem to be falling behind
Setbacks and much more
If only I could get back
To where I was before
Needing to find the words
Its been difficult to explain
If only I could get back
To writing once again
Here with my pen in hand
I was frustrated obviously
If only I could get back
Finding the poet in me
Whilst blank pages await
In another sleepless night
If only I could get back
My confidence to write
The creative spark I seek
Not wanting to lose touch
If only I could get back
I miss writing so much
