You Are My Mystery
31 August, 2009
Author: Karla Bardanza
You are my mystery,
The voice so afar,
You are the wind
Carrying me to the stars.
You are the unseen face,
The most desirable dream,
You are the perfumed embrace
Making me beam and gleam.
You are the music in me,
A melody that puts me into a trance.
You are the one who sets me free
And calls me for an unforgettable dance.
You are my desire melting away,
My flame wrapped up in secrecy.
You are the word I always say
When I am in ecstasy.
You are what I can’t define:
My soul, my eternity and my art.
You are the one who makes me rise and shine.
You are the light inside my heart.
Let me be your shield and shelter,
Let me be your day and night,
Let me guide you to eternal delight.
