My Heart Asks For Pleasure
6 September, 2009
Author: Karla Bardanza
What I know I call pain…
What I feel I call fear…
What keeps me in chains
Is what I will never be
Able to explain…
What I buried is still here.
These tears rolling down on my face…
A lost moment that I need to
Understand and trace…
This silent peace, so cruel, so white.
What I have is what lasts…
Yesterday is not past…
I feel your heart beating in
My hands…
I feel…I feel…
This knife in the heart making me
Bleed, this moment in the dark,
This abyss calling me, insanity
Is so sweet…
And when I look down I see
Such a melodious voice seducing
Me…
Tender fire, sweet sea…
I am about to dive into the unknown…
I am almost there…
And there…and there I will
Find all the windmills of my mind…
My heart asks for pleasure…
My soul asks for tomorrow…
I am sinking in this sorrow…
I am peeling away…
I am dying today…
And nobody can’t hear
My aching heart, my grieving soul…
And nobody will see when I spread
My wings and go…
