Abyss Of Sick Butterflies
9 September, 2009
Author: Karla Bardanza
Words of fire bleeding inside
Aching hands a heart tries to hide
A rough sea between tomorrow and today
Poems that seem to fade away
As sorrow is shield and protection
Despair…She can’t breathe
There is no air
Darkness taming blind eyes
An abyss of sick butterflies
She sees her agony and pain
She drifts again and again
Insane silence all around
Shadows dancing in the dark
Slowly she slides into madness
Slowly she wears sadness
And there is no way out
And there is no other route
But that deafening shout
