An Open Letter To My Love
14 January, 2002
Author: Don Fraser
Please come back to me my love
I have missed you so much
I remember so well
those walks we took on the beach.
The sea shells and the fish bones
laying there to suggest another life.
Now the right side of my body
is empty and cold as I walk in the wind.
Even the waves of the mighty sea miss you
The waves show their sadness by not being so high
Yes my love, we all miss you
and want you to come back to us.
Another being has taken you from my arms
But he can’t have you for long
I will walk into our old friend the sea
and be with you for ever.
