I take this pen to paper to write of the love in my heart
Though I'm not sure what good it will do since we are apart
But if my tomorrow's ended with the events of my today
I'd want something written showing all my heart has to say

Despite our differences and all the times I couldn't make you smile
I realize now my time with you was meant to be and worth while
You've made me realize love only truly happens once in a life
My love happened with you and stays...even though I never made it to being your wife

There's something magical about you that I'll never be able to release
Something about not being able to lock up your love forever that's forever gotten to me
I loved you with all my heart...love you with all my heart
And though it's gotten easier being away from you I don't feel I can restart

I hope if my tomorrow ended today someone tells you I left with you in my heart
Letting you know I loved you until my end as I said I would from the start
