Bloody Scars
23 September, 2009

The years have proved
That she can’t move on
And forget…
When she looks back,
She still feels…
Those afternoons full of horror
Loom in the dark…
She shouts but no one hears…
She cries…
Who can wipe her tears?

She is still that girl…
And deep inside the scars
Burn…
She can’t run…she can’t run…
And it hurts so much…
She can’t confess…no…she can’t…
The shadow on the wall…
The hands stealing her soul…
Oh…please…let me go…
Oh …please…let me go…

What can’t be seen still kills her
Every now and then…
And he is hungry again…
Oh…she is so afraid…
She is so afraid…
Why? Why?
She just wants to die…
She just wants to die…
And every day is the same…
Nothing can be done to save
Her from that old shame.
Everybody is blind…
Nobody can see what is happening…
Nobody can set her free from her memory.
Nobody can break that bloody chain
Hidden in her soul, hidden in her brain…

...with every chapter of darkness....

...with every chapter of darkness in our lives we pray for a little light!
