Is One Love Enough?
7 January, 2002
Author: Don Fraser
One love is not enough
My poor wife
Has had it rough
Once I took a chance
When I
Tried to dance
Boy did I fall down
Yep all the way
To the ground
My wife deserves more than me
I’m a cripple
You see
She deserves so much better
There is nothing if I could
I wouldn’t get her
I worked very hard when I was young
Smart things came
Off of my tongue
Now that I am old
I am not
So bold
But she has stuck with me
through thick and thin
She never asked me
Where have you been
We had a marriage based on trust
And she
Never fussed
Now I’m afraid that is lost
Oh, what this stroke has cost
