Reckless Lover
9 October, 2009
Author: Leah06
I wish I could say I hate you
And that it would be true
You cheated, lied, and manipulated me
I was so in love with you.
I gave you all of me
And all you did was take
I had everything to loose, and did
My heart you chose to break.
I finally walked away from you
All I could do was cry
I couldn't understand why you did it
It would be less painful just to die.
Now that I am over you
I stay strong and walk tall
I know that I can do better
While you regret it all.
Together we were perfect
And you will never find a better match
You are just a dead beat frog
And I'm the lucky catch.
So enjoy your easy girls
Your no-good white-trash ho
My price is somewhere out there
He will find me soon I know.

Meridian (71.241.2.88) -- Friday, October 9 2009, 07:25 pm Leah06! "You are just a dead beat frog....," had me chuckling. So, I take it the frog is indicative of a prince in this poem, and you, no doubt, are the princess? Thanks for the laugh and such a wonderful read! As usual! |
