Family Misunderstandings
23 October, 2009
Author: Barbara Goodhew
Disabled body trying to do our best.
Feeling like we need a rest.
Family doesn't understand the energy it takes,
To do what they can do in a matter of a few shakes.
They remember the energy, the go get them
attitude, we use to have.
Disability is hard for us to adjust,
But for our family and friends,
It's a Misunderstanding and reality that is unjust.
