New Year
2 February, 2002
Author: Don Fraser
Now that a new year is here,
We Americans,
Have little,
To fear.
Yes the terrorist did a terrible thing,
Yes and great sorrow,
Did they bring.
2002 will be the greatest year yet.
Many riches,
You will get.
You will sleep in your, oh so warm bed
The terrorism,
You will not dread.
Our men and woman in uniform will be.
Your means,
Of security.
So fear not my friend,
It is far,
From the end.
This nation will pick itself up by the bootstrap.
