But Almost
28 October, 2009
Author: Shiloh
Like soft pastels,
as in a flower garden,
or the light of a spring morning,
of butterflies in the distance,
just out of focus...
The memories,
the thoughts,
the might-have-beens...
they are not quite there,
although I want them to be.
I will have to just enjoy them
just the way they are,-
not quite there,
but almost.
