Aging:

When you're young and life feels just like spring
you yearn for the wisdom that old age will bring
but once you're in the autumn of your later years
the child within suddenly reappears!

Lust:

The mere thought of you was all it took.
My cup runneth over like a babbling brook
but time is like a chef without the desire to cook
and now I just read about it in a book!

---

Volume:

When He painted the world it was a silent place.
The last known period of tranquillity and grace.
With the disruption of peace this volume had to numb
when a hunter started banging on a prototype of the drum!

---

Learning:

As you sit there dumbfounded and without a clue
the learning process is always new
but it's only a stupid question if you don't ask
and hide behind the ignorance of your mask!

---

Love:

Being madly in love is just mad indeed
now that you've reconsidered and reversed the speed
as you no longer want him and certainly don't need
to know these affairs of the heart are never guaranteed!
