The Tarot Spoke To Me
30 October, 2009
Author: Karla Bardanza
She read my intuitive mind.
She shuffled my destiny.
Oh! She unveiled my desires and fears.
She saw my past, my present and my future.
Oh! She interpreted my tears.
My eyes contemplated that mystery as
In a different journey I embarked in awe.
I let the tarot speak and my destiny I saw.
Some losses, some gains, some flowers,
Some rain. Life was there calling me again.
The lovers, The world, The sun, The moon:
What am I but a rose coming into bloom?
The Chariot, The Devil, The Tower, The Star.
What to do but to forget this newly scar?
The Fool, The Emperor, The Empress:
This pain of love should I let die or confess?
She guided me through the dark,
She gave me her hand.
Now my life and heart I shall understand.
The Tarot spoke to me.
My fate and, my soul she could see.
The Tarot taught me how to be divine.
I am not lost in my madness anymore.
Now I know I can shine.
