To A Friend
30 October, 2009
Author: Karla Bardanza
You are my another self,
The one brought by the
whispers of the clouds
on a dreamy night.
You are what the rainbow
knitted after the moon
opened its arms to cuddle
all the stars.
You are the hand sewing
my joy with dreams,
harvesting my pain into
flowers. You are my heart
beating in another chest.
I am glad there is you
helping me to learn and
grow. I am glad there is
you showering me with
all this beautiful love that
only true friendship can
really sow.
