Sunshine
20 November, 2001
Author: Don Fraser
Oh where has all of the sunshine gone?
There was plenty and now
It is none
I live in the northwest
Of all the places I’ve been
I love this the best
Everything is so green
It’s no wonder
To the northwest I lean
Sure It rains all of the time
But that’s the price you pay
To feel so sublime
When it rains I don’t get wet
By living in the northwest
I’m a vet,
You can always tell when it’s going to rain
It doesn’t take
A hell of a brain
You look towards Mt. Hood
As all north-westerners would
And if you can see the mountain high
And it’s beauty
You would sigh
But if you can’t see the mountain at all
That means
The rain has commenced to fall.
