God In Me
15 November, 2009
Author: Karla Bardanza
Endless battles and deep wounds sleep silently within
as I search for myself in my long journey towards life.
Each memory was carved from some pain under my skin.
Each permanent lesion reminds me of a dramatic strife.
Some tears, some losses, some laughs, some scars
and here I am again as strong as I could possibly be,
sighing with love poems, flowers and shooting stars,
learning from the cruel past to find God hidden in me.
