Letting Go Of You
17 November, 2009
Author: Devilyangelic
Angelic eyes implore,
me to walk away and not love her anymore.
My mouth can't speak,
my knees so weak.
Tear-stained cheek,
as some comfort I seek.
I want to say baby don't,
but when I look at her I know I won't.
Away I walk,
watching her wipe every memory we made like chalk.
Etched in my heart a tiny j,
I'll always love you I hear her say.
Heart in shreds,
as in the opposite direction from me she heads.
Nothing more does she say,
as silently I plead her to stay.
For the last time she looks at me,
through tear-filled eyes I now see.
My angel leave for the very last time,
I muster the strength to let go of what was once mine.
Now I know just how love feels,
breaking down as my heart it seals.
The second hardest thing I've ever had to do,
is LETTING GO OF YOU!!!
