Here I Am

I try to be perfect but I know I fall short
I am not the always the person I would like to be
Sometimes important things get laid to the side
Many times they are put off till tomorrow

I'm not what anyone would call a neat freak
Preferring tie-dyes to dress clothes
Sometimes my patience gets lack
And I don't always say the right things

But there is one thing for certain
That's my love for you
It's the strongest thing about me
It guides me through each day

I always look forward to our time together
Though it is usually cut short by interruptions
I can't imagine who I would be without you
Sharing my life with you.. is the best part of me

------- Author's Notes -------

I have been married now for 18 years. Thank you Clint, for loving me as I am, and never trying to change me. I am so blessed by your love.. After all these years you still excite me. You make my heart smile.

Goodie

It's good when the love is still going strong between a married couple of many years.
