Before You
24 November, 2009
Author: Karla Bardanza
Before you I knew all the secrets the stars hid.
Life had no mystery, my enigmas I did decipher.
Fate lines in my hand were short and defined
by the melody I could never feel or even find.
Before you the abyss was my silent answer
to hope and its ever open arms of pleasure.
With closed eyes I read my old book of sorrow.
Before you I didn’t think of my own tomorrow.
Now I see I lost my face somewhere between
passion and love as let my soul encounters you
in drunk dreams and rainbows of divine rain,
calling you to embrace my heart again and again.
