Ground Zero
13 December, 2001
Author: Don Fraser
It was day eleven
Over six thousand people
Went to heaven
Jets fly through the twin towers
The buildings come down
In showers
Now it is called ground zero
Among the police and the fireman
It was easy to find a hero
They walked right in
They knew the buildings
Would cave in
Many lost their lives
Many could hear
Their cries
Yes they were heroes
Let’s hope there will be
No more ground zeros.
