Holiday

damn this cursed holiday
i've got nothing new to say
just a whole lot of brewing hate
to hell with the world
i am still just a worm
poke me and watch me squirm
i've got nothing left to say
just all this seething hate
i'll give it all away

shiloh (67.251.100.215) -- Monday, February 15 2010, 12:45 am holidays are not always wonderful and happy and all of that - except in the movies. real life would never sell tickets in theaters. while i don't hate holidays, i don't necessarily enjoy them greatly. strange how the phrase holy day became holiday and is now used to denote anything to do with spending money and giving things to others, as well as the emotional ripping that also sometimes accompanies the "holy days." |
