My Secret Star
23 December, 2009
Author: Tarna
Tonight I close my eyes
to my secret Star
laying you to rest
beneath the earth
too small to be a child
a dream never realized
an existence ceased
before it began
I held you in my mothers womb
cradling you in the love of your father
a final piece of a dream set to rest
where the flowers will always bloom
and the birds will always sing
my tears fall in silent sobbing
for my secret Star unknown
I weep for you my secret Star
and what was not meant to be
In closure of a passion lost
In a love now history
And from the day you first fluttered
I loved you totally
You were to be born of my love
but it was not our destiny
Good night sweet Star
I will never forget
