Kicking
25 December, 2009
Author: Miztrebor
I like to kick balls.
I’ll get in trouble if I do that
In halls.
I kick my brother,
But I really shouldn’t ought to.
If I kick too high
Some thing might fly.
------- Author's Notes -------
I just found a box of books from my childhood in the attic. In the box was a book written by my third grade class where we all wrote poems. This poem is the first poem i ever wrote. It's kind of cool to see it because i didn't remember it until now. Also it's quite humorous to read now. |

Colin Santa (69.157.14.57) -- Friday, December 25 2009, 06:17 pm ..well it works for me - I personally think it's a work of art! I have been exploring children's music and other art forms by children myself and it's a completely radical uninhibited way of thinking. I miss this sweet old days of unreasonable thinking probably because I AM WAS THINKING SO CLEARLY LOL LOL LOL |
Miz Trebor (Robert Zimmermann) (64.246.155.71) -- Friday, December 25 2009, 06:35 pm haha, we do think clearly as children don't we. our minds weren't clouded by rule and forms and principles. We just set anything to paper and were happy with it. and some of the poems by my then classmates aren't to shabby either. maybe more children should be famous poets instead of us adults trying our hand a perfection. haha. happy holidays. |
