Pearl Harbor
1 November, 2001
Author: Don Fraser
It was nineteen forty one
December seventh to be exact
I heard on Dads radio
That some of our ships
Were attacked
The Japanese had bombed them
while they were sitting in Pearl Harbor
The Japanese did something
They shouldn’t oughter
Our country went to arms that day
People went to church
To pray
This country was united
We sure were
Not divided
Our young men went to war
They fought
As never before
Before the war was over
A lot of young men
Were buried under
The clover
So here’s to you young fighting man
Thank you
You never ran.
