Cheatin' Kind
3 January, 2010
Author: Tarna
He walked out of my life years ago
When he left, he left a great big hole
Nothing was big enough to fill it
Nothing was hot enough to chill it
..for me
20 years later he showed up once again
Time melted away, something moved within
Nothing I could do to try and chill it
Nothing I could do to try and hide it
..This time
I never thought I'd be the cheatin' kind
Never thought that I could live a lie
Never thought that I could risk good byes
..Till now
I never thought I'd be the cheatin' kind
I had Married a good man years ago
Settled for security, thought that love would grow
Never did the passion come about
Never did this love take that route
..For me
20 years later something is missing from my life
For 20 years I've been the faithful wife
I had put away what I was missing
I put away all the reminiscing
..Till now
I never thought I'd be the cheatin' kind
Never thought that I could live a lie
Never thought that I could risk good byes
..Till now
I never thought I'd be the cheatin' kind
I Never thought I be the cheatin' kind
No I never thought I'd be the cheatin' kind
