If there’s no one to follow
The world seems hollow.
If there’s no one to follow
Shadows lead the way
If the clouds are all low
The ground seems to sway
If the clouds are all low
Don’t run away.
Why’d the sky laugh at seeds?
They won’t grow.
Why’d the sun have to bleed?
It’s letting go.
Walking to watch the time go by,
Walking to walk.
Striding into the deep unknown,
Striding to stride.
If the hills are swaying
And you don’t know what their saying
If the hills are swaying
And you feel you’re falling down
Then jump in the plain
And play until sundown
And wait for the rain
To paint the green from brown.
